Hi

the otherday someone gave a link for another site advisor other than macaffe.

but i cant find it now can someone post a link to the thread?

Not sure what u mean.
It was originaly developed by "siteadvisor" guys and then purchased by McAfee, so there is only one siteadvisor now. McAfee jst added their name in the beginning.

what i ment was a similar product made by another company. a program which like siteadvisor by macaffe rates a page and tells you if its safe or not. but cant remember what it was called

The Google Safe Browsing thing is now a part of the Google Toolbar (only). I couldn't actually get it to work. It seems like there was another one out there, but I can't recall what it is. I know it wasn't as good as SiteAdvisor, though.

BTW, three was an application similar to site advisor ratings, basically a search engine incorpoating google and some other searches, with no need to instal a toolbar. I forgot its name. It was beta.
