There are a multitude of different ways to get updates ... In advance of someone posting how to bypass using M$ updates; a simple warning - this thread will be closed immediately if anything such is posted.
AFAIK, security updates regardless of a Windows Installation being Valid or Not are available via manual DL from M$ - I don't believe this policy has been changed in anyway - So the title of this thread technically would be false. Regards; Steve |

yeap, i just watched it again and what i meant to say was geniune MS stuff helps protect you from viruses.
