    Re: custom scanning

there is no way to exclude certain files from on-demand scanning. Only from AMON (on-access monitor)
You could select particular folders or files to be scanned.

In the screenshot, is the bottom section of 'Folders and files' an exclude list? It's not very clear if it is.

I think the OP wants to know how to exclude other snapshots from being scanned.

The bottom list is an "include" list. I included everything on my c:drive except for the FD-ISR folders.

Wouldn't it be easier for the program to have an "exclude" list rather than an "include" list? That way, you're only entering one item instead of everything bar the one folder you're trying to exclude.

It would be easier, yes. Unfortunately, the option is not available for NOD32 on-demand scanning, as of version 2.5. It has been added to the NOD32 Wishlist thread, so I hope it will be added in version 3.0.
