One thing is talking and another actually doing. You think small AV companies would risk being possibly sued by mega giant corporation like Sony? I think not, be it riootkitted or not. Hell even Symantec is small compared to Sony.
So blaming AV vendors for all this is not really a way, blaming companies to even go so low like Sony did, thats something to blame.
