Cosmetic issue after HD partitioning

I have recently partitioned my hard disk into 4 parts by GPARTED and window,s built in disk management utility. Every thing is fine but I have a minor cosmetic issue with it.
Whenever I reboot my laptop, there is a dotted box around My Notebook( I have changed the name of icon my computer to my notebook). This box disappers when I refresh my desktop or click any otehr desktop icons but reappers on next reboot. Obviously it does not interfere with any functions of the OS but my ( rather obsessional) aesthetic sense is not accepting it. The problem arose right after partitioning.
Any ideas how can I get rid of this box?
