Raxco told me to run a CHKDSK /R...how?

I ran ISR to create a Secondary Snapshot. After the snapshot finish it told me "Copied 3.70 GB (25334 files, 3021 dirs) Errors 10086; 26 minutes)" I contacted Raxco Support and after 4 days I wrote them back and they told me to "run a CHKDSK /R on the drive and see if it finds/fixes any errors."

I am new to this. Can anyone help me to run the CHKDSK /R? Thanks in advance

 

1. Go to the Start Menu and click on Run.

2. In the run box type in "chkdsk X: /r". Replace "X" with the letter of the drive u want to check.

It may then tell u that it cannot lock the drive and it will ask u if u want to run chkdsk on reboot. if it doesnt ask, then skip steps 3 and 4.

3. Type "y" and press enter.

4. Reboot your computer.

5. Let chkdsk finish. it may take a while.

 

1. Click on Start (Desktop)
2. Click on Run
3. Type "chkdsk /r" without the quotes
4. Click "OK"

If the harddisk is "C:" it will run during the next reboot and Windows will ask you this. Answer with "Y" (Yes)

Reboot your computer and chkdsk will run. After that your computer will reboot again automatically.

 

I tired the steps above, on my laptop (win2003) two times, but I could not get chkdsk to be run automatically !!!!!

 

I tried this as well , but chkdsk could not get run.
