Big Grin Can't reinstall GoBack Deluxe 3.0

Tried to install a second hard drive ( Maxtor 250 GB SATA-150 7200 RPM 8 GB). The Maxtor MaxBlast 4 software said I should disable or uninstall GoBack. I disabled GoBack Deluxe 3.0 but the message returned when I tried to install the new hard drive again. Uninstalled GoBack this time. Rebooted PC and hard drive installed. Now trying to reinsall GoBack Deluxe 3.0 from CD but messages say 'GoBack was successfully uninstalled' or 'Please go to the Control Panel to install and configure system components'. Don't see GoBack in Control Panel. Uninstalled MaxBlast 4 because was told I don't need it. 1st hd was copied to new one. 2nd hd is bootable and is used for backup. OS is Win2kPro. How can I reinstall GoBack Deluxe?

Hi vinn

Not too sure what your problem is but maybe GoBack didn't completely uninstall, this site tells you how to check

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315333/

Or

I think GoBack was completely uninstalled because MaxBlast 4 software wouldn't install my new Maxtor hard drive before GoBack Deluxe was uninstalled. Also when I insert my GoBack CD and click install a 'GoBack Setup' messagebox says 'GoBack uninstall completed successfully' and the installation does not take place. Tried the semantic site but that didn't help.
