I want know what kind of virus is it.
Closing word office 2000 I receive an ad saying that the normal.doc have changed if I accept it. I allways say no.

If you apply any changes in the way you setup the layout of a default page Notmal.dot will be changed. You just do it yourself

Hi latinas,

Are you sure it says normal.doc and not normal.dot?
In the last case that virus is called Windows.

The prompt to save normal.dot changes appears when you add AutoText entries, formatted AutoCorrect entries, customize a menu or toolbar, add/modify styles, plus various other customizations. These are probably the reasons for the occasional message.

Pieter
