Can FD do snapshots of other partitions rather than the primary partition (C),
i.e. E,F,M...? |

No you can not unfortunately. Just your C: drive or partition.

But you can store Archived Snapshots on any other partition than [C:], including external harddisks, DVD's and CD's and of course you can restore Archived Snapshots back in a new snapshot on your system partition [C:] and make them bootable again. You can not boot from an Archived Snapshot. The maximum of bootable snapshots is 10 on system partition [C:] The number of Archived Snapshots is unlimited as long there is space enough.

Let me be the one to ask...why do you partition? What is it that requires you to partition that could not otherwise be accomplished, say by foldering? |

Here you can read the advantages of multi-partitioning :
http://partition.radified.com/partitioning_2.htm Sometimes partitioning is a necessity and sometimes it's a PERSONAL choice, like choosing between NOD32 and KAV. ![]()

Why would partition to chose between Nod and KAV. That is what FDISR is all about. ![]() |

If you choose NOD32 above KAV it's a personal choice. If you choose for multi-partitioning, it's often a personal choice. That's what both have in common : personal choice. That's what I ment.

To all:
I would like to ask that We not dominate yet another thread with an off topic discussion in regards to partioning vs not partioning. If you don't mind....Please hop on over to an appropriate forum and debate away with that subject matter. Bubba |

A number of off topic posts were removed that once again contained partioning vs not partioning type posts.
Having said that....let me make a further "clarification" of my above Mod request for those that might have mis-understood....Pretty Please hop on over to an appropriate forum and debate away with that subject matter. Thanks, Bubba |

One off topic post removed given the fact decisions made are not open for public debate as per our TOS. Feel free to PM an Admin or myself for further clarification if so desired.
As the thread starters question has been answered....we'll close this thread now and continue the off topic discussions in a more appropriate venue. Thanks, Bubba |
