Question What's a DVD-RAM compared to normal DVD-Burner ?

I have a problem with True Image 9 Trial and posted a thread about it.

Doing search for similar problem I see reference to possible problems with DVD-RAM. My DVD Burner is marked as being a DVD-RAM.

I don't know what DVD-RAM stands for and what it does. All I know is I do CD and DVD burning with this. That's all.

Hi; Browser_ice I don't know if you mean the actual termenalogy of DVD ram or not but if you do a search in google "what is DVD ram" you will get a lot of good explainations. A lot of DVD recorders use DVD RAM which gives you the capablity of watching from the start of a program while while recording. This site gives you a pretty good description.
