I have all my data on a d drive and have scaned this with KAV as full scan dont work. (d is all ok)

Want to format the C drive - will that sort it or is it more tricky?

I had a rogue anti-spyware program on my computer that whenever I would scan with Ad-Aware it would reboot as soon as Ad-Aware found it. I finally just waited until it found it and it displayed 1 threat then I immediately clicked "End Scan" and "Clean All." About a half second after AA deleted the file my computer rebooted. I was relieved to run another full system scan and not have my computer reboot as soon as it found a threat.
