Default Registry modification problem

After running an Ewido scan in Safe Mode, as requested by forums.spywareinfo.com, I rebooted (Win2K). At the end of the boot, Ad-Watch Event Log displayed:

Registry modification detected
Root: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run Value:Lewido
Data:
New Data: "C:\Program Files\Ewido Anti-Spyware 4.0\Ewido.exe" Minimized

And it did this 109 times until I terminated it!

What's going on here, and how do I correct it?

About every 5 seconds ewido attempts to write that entry and Adwatch recognizes this. I am not an Adwatch user so can't advise what you would need to do concerning the logging of that item. However....ewido is aware of this matter and as noted below they are looking into this bug.

This seems to be a bug, it shouldn't rewrite it everytime. It should only check if it is set and if the setting in the startup entries is not identical with the settings choosen by the user it should be written.

I'm sorry. We'll correct it asap.
