Default When surfing the web my pc restarts...

I am only using limited acct when surfing the web, and there are times my pc restarts automatically when I'm in the middle of web browsing. This didn't happens when I am using my administrative acct..it only happens when I am surfing the web w limited acct...

Is this cause by Firefox browser?

I have already scans my pc w antivirus, anti-spywares in safe mode and nothing is found.

Hi there,

Look this might be a shot in the dark, a repairman once told me that when the mother board is either too old or beginning to fail it can trigger unsolicited reboots.

I don't know if that is your problem, but collecting info is a start. I would also try an on line scanner like Kaspersky just to be sure nothing is on your system.

It only happens when I am surfing using Firefox browser. When off-line, or using other applications and other programs limited or admin acct it didn't happens. I really suspects this was a Firefox problem...

Sweater, have you updated to the new version of firefox lately? (1.5.0.4)
Another shot in the dark; it could be a profile corruption wich makes it crash.

I found out the culprit...its my ScrapBook firefox extension that causing the auto restarts. I observe that when I am not capturing pages w scrapbook my pc didnt behave that way...but when I starts to capture several websites w this extension it just returned acting like crazy, without warning reboot like a joker to surprise me, and then... the windows error fixing utility will run automatically before the welcome screen to fix those errors.

Maybe, I have to find options for the alternative w this ScrapBook firefox extension...

That would have been my next suggestion, those extensions can wreak havoc.
But you found the culprit.
