I tested it Myself and I could create an image to DVD-R from the bootcd.

The only weird thing is dat it states (cd-rw) drive while it is a DVD+-RW drive (acronis please fix)

Only when I want to restore from it it isn't recognised! Acronis please fix these BUGS!!

    Hello jeremyotten,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

This issue has been forwarded to our Testing Team. We will let you know the results of their investigation as soon as possible. As this can take a few days, we apologize in advance for any delay with response.

    Thank you.

    Hello Aleksandr,

This anomaly was also hilighted as a general comment, along with a more specific problem regarding DVD+RW disks that had been erased via Nero Burning ROM, in my thread titled <TI 9.0 Home Build 3633 - Imaging Direct to DVD>. Acronis Support hasn't responded to that thread yet but I'm hopeful that someone from Support will forward that particular problem to your Testing/Development Team also.

    Best regards
