Is there ANY way to get Acronis to work on a Slack 9 box? They provide support for Slack 10 and there is very little difference. Of course I have tried to run the installer but get a seg fault installing:

Running 'rpm -U --percent --force --nodeps /tmp/RPMS.z5cHJv/dkms-2.0.4-2.noarch.rpm'

    From the logs.

Any ideas how I can make it work?

    Hello volksman,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Server Disk Backup Software.

Could you please try to use "--norpm" parameter?

If that doesn't help please issue the following command

    #strace -o log -fF ./install_file.i686

Please submit a request for technical support. Provide the log file from the current directory in your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
