Default error cause by Nod32 AV System

I think I may have seen something about this before, but I can't seem to find it now. Any advice?
I was stupidly using IE (and not as usual Firefox) when I got a "IE must close" error. When I submitted it, this was the reply from MS.

Error caused by NOD32 Antivirus System: no specific solution available

Thank you for submitting an error report.

Problem description

An analyst at Microsoft has investigated this problem and determined that an unknown error occurred in NOD32 Antivirus System. This software was created by Eset.

Microsoft has researched this problem with Eset, and they do not currently have a solution for the problem that you reported. Below is a recommendation to take that may help prevent the problem from recurring.

* Contact Eset for support or product updates.

Additional information

Thanks Ronjor. Just as a matter of information. I am using v. 2.51.26 on WinXp with Service Pack 2 installed and all current updates (MS and Nod32).

Hi Jayt, if it happened to my system I would do the following:

Download a FRESH copy of Nod32 from www.nod32.com

Uninstall your current version.

REBOOT your Computer.

Remove the Eset Folder from C Drive> Program Files.

Install the FRESH copy of Nod32 that you downloaded above using “Typical Settings”.

Then I would repair Winsock, and next repair IMON; see post number 40 HERE

Cheers
