Default AntiVir or AVIRA?

I'm seeing that on virustotal.com both AVIRA and AntiVir appear as different scanning AVs. As far as I know they are the same product...or am I wrong?

I see they have different engines and AntiVir haven't been updated for a while, but I don't know...

AntiVir became AVIRA.

Quote:
AntiVir PersonalProducts GmbH and its sister company H+BEDV Datentechnik GmbH merge together under the new company name Avira GmbH.

thx, Sputnik
And another question...Does Avira have a page where you can see how many defs have been added on a particular day and eventually the name of those viruses like NOd32, Dr. Web , etc have ?

Edit: I"ve found the answer: http://www.avira.com/en/threats/sect...ory/index.html
