Cool Leapfrog Software Next-Gen Graphics Contest!

Greetings All,

Leapfrog Software, Inc. will be an updating the FirstDefense-ISR Workstation and Server products, scheduled for release *soon*. We are looking to replace the current boot image graphic and splash screen (see links below). If you think you “have what it takes”, we are challenging you to come up with the next look for the FirstDefense-ISR product line.

What do you win?
(Let's get down to what you really want to know first!)
How about a little notoriety? If you are the chosen one, we will put recognition in the product and website. (If you want). If you are one of the top three chosen, we will be offering you a free copy of FirstDefense-ISR Professional. (How about that? !! )

Objective
To create a boot and/or splash screen for the next versions of FirstDefense-ISR Workstation and Server products.

General Information
Submissions will be judged on creativity, originality, aesthetics and use of space and color. Judging will be performed by our internal and external beta testing team, resellers, and corporate partners.

Boot Image Guidelines
  • Boot image must be 90 pixels high, 320 pixels wide, 24 bit color BMP format.
(Note: We have to convert to 4 bit color (16 colors), so you may want to keep the design simple)
  • Boot image should include the text "FirstDefense-ISR" and "Immediate System Recovery".
  • You can submit more than one boot image.
Sample boot image: <click here>

Splash Screen Guidelines
  • Splash Screen must be minimum of 360 pixels high, 450 pixels wide, 24 bit color BMP format. It can be larger but the important details should be seen in the minimum size.
  • Splash screen should include the text "FirstDefense-ISR" and "Immediate System Recovery". You do not need to add “Professional”, “Server”, or our copyright notice text (we’ll add all that stuff), but you can submit separate images representing the different products, if you like.
  • You can submit more than one splash screen.
Sample splash screen: <click here>

Submissions
Email your submissions in a compressed or zipped file to contest@leapfrogsoftware.com. Please include your name, your preferred return email address, and country of residence.

Rules
This contest is void where prohibited. All submissions become the property of Leapfrog Software, Inc. Submissions must be received by May 1, 2006. Top submission will be recognized on our website, and in the product. The submission must be your original design, and not a copy that may be subject to copyright laws.

Hi Todd just a quick question..
Since gmail is blocking my zip file, would you accept a rar file instead?
For some reason gmail is blocking each & every zip I send, so I gotta use rar with a password so it can't scan the content of the compressed file.

It's all good to go, just can't send it!

Alrighty thanks.

Greetings Brian,

RAR would be just fine. Just send me an email with the password. We are looking forward to your images.

Great, hope you guys recieve it.
Edit: If not, I'll provide a download link - It seems even with .RAR files + password it still removes it or something.
