Default compatiblity with ibm's rescue and recovery software

i want to know if first defense isr is compatible with rescue and recovery pre loaded with most thinkpad?thank you.

Hi ashishtx

I am not sure most of know much about how that works. Do you know if it installs anything in the Master Boot Record. Hopefully Todd can answer that, or you might Email Raxco and ask them.

Also does the R and R of IBM's protect the whole computer or just the system.

i installed first defense isr on my thinkpad without any problems. I can say that one can use rescue and recovery safely with first defense isr.

Thats great. You can probaby get rid of the ibm stuff, unless it does something really unique.
