Default Windows XP Shutting down

I've been having an intermittent problem that occurs every few hours. My pc shuts down and then restarts. I don't know if it caused by my pc card (Kyocera-kpc 650) but it only occured after I started using it to connect to the internet. I get a blue screen with text on it but it doesn't stay up long enough to read it.

Checking the event viewer I am getting a system report that says:

I have no idea what any of this means or where to start-if someone can point a direction to go it would be most helpful. Would a re-format help?

Thank you in advance.

It could be very well a hardware issue. Check with the manufacturer if the
card is Windows XP LOGO certified or not. They might also have some driver
update if its a driver issue.

You can disable the automatic reboot feature by right clicking on the My
Computer icon, select properties, click on Advanced tab, click on Startup
and Recovery settings & uncheck Automatically Restart. But it won't stop
the blue screen.

Before installing any hardware, please check for the Windows XP LOGO test
certificate. It saves us from these buggers.

Thx for the prompt reply, the card is XP certified although I have the 64x edition so I may have to check on that. It happened again and I was able to get this from MSN:

Well in that case try a card which has a driver for the 64bit edition or get a
card which can use the one of the integrated drivers of Windows XP. All of
them will be for the 64bit edition.
