Remote Desktop help needed

Hey guys,
I need some help. Here is what I have:

• A Windows XP Home setup to receive incoming VPN connections.
• A Windows XP Home, 2 Win2000 Pro machines that need to connect
• A secured VPN connection.

This is what I need:

• Once the VPN is connected (which I have no problems with), my clients need to be able to gain access to the remote systems programs/files on the XP Home machine.

This is what I know:

• The computer that is being connected to, is also in regular use. I had thought about RealVNC because that would be an easy solution, but it takes control of the system and the person who is sitting in front of it is still going to need access to it.
• I researched and found that the Remote Desktop Management only works with XP Pro machines, So that is out.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I can allow remote access to programs/files without totally disrupting the user that is sitting in front of the system?

Thanks Tex, but I would have the same problem as with RealVNC. This program also takes control of the monitor, keyboard and mouse so the person that is sitting in front of the pc would be overridden.

How about something like Avvenu http://www.avvenu.com/ which allows access to files, so is remote access rather than remote control? I've not tried it but saw it a few weeks ago and your post jogged my memory.

Another one I have used in the past, which allows for either remote control or remote access is Netsupport Manager http://www.netsupport-inc.com/nsm/netsupport_manager_overview.htm which you can evaluate without needing to purchase first.
