Just received notice from Visicom Media about new updates from AceHTML Pro and AceFTP Pro.

I downloaded these updates and during install you'll be asked if you want to install this toolbar or not.
I decided not to install this toolbar of which I know nothing at all.

My question: Is it safe to install this toolbar or not?

Can someone enlighten me about it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Eric ;)

    Hi Mrk,
Don't need it, but I'm just curious as to what it is and if it's safe. :)
Also why did Visicom Media bundle that with their software o_O
Couldn't find any info in their FAQ's.

    Thanks for responding. ;)

    Hi,
    I checked that toolbar.
It's just another marketing-awareness tool. Not something you need, normally. I believe you're capable of finding your own games, shops and preferences using google.

    Hi again Mrk,
    Thanks for checking. :)
    It's what I've found/read too.

Oh well, I didn't find any other info about it.
So if they don't want to provide more information about it, don't install it,
    unless you absolutely need it.

Anyhow you can choose to install it or not during install.
I however wished they didn't bundle that with their programs, which I like.

    Stay Safe. ;)

    Hi,

VMN Toolbar is perfectly safe. There are no adware with the toolbar. There are many usefull utilities in the toolbar like:

    - RSS Feed: VMN Toolbar has one of the most powerful RSS feed manager. You can have your RSS displayed directly from the Toolbar

    - You can have games directly from the Toolbar

    - You have the weather forecast

    - a pop-up blocker and more

New features will be added for V 1.5

If you need more info, please feel welcome to write to me.
