Adblock + Filterset.G updater.
NoScript. CookieSafe. TabMix Plus. Mouse Gestures. Minimize to Tray. These make browsing so much easier and cleaner that I even gave up Maxathon.

I wan
s having about 15 extensions and many thesmes but I notuiced they make the launch of Firefox too slow, so I trimmed down aggressively, now having-- SpoofStick SiteAdvisor Robofrorm All in one sidebar with Noia extreme theme. So these are my must haves. Anyway I could do it as my main browser is Opera. BTW, a bit OT but I will like to ask, is there any skin for opera just like Noia extreme( I like this ff skin too much). Thanks.

I read a couple of comments about it. Doesn't seem as good as forecastfox, which I use. I was just curious about it.

Extensions for FireFox are intended to enhance your FireFox experience. Do a before and after analysis and keep those which are helpful and un-install the others.
Every time FireFox offers an upgrade, some extensions are dropped due to in-compatibility because the author has not updated its contents. Many of those so called "in-compatibile" are still fully functional. I use an extension called Nightly Tester Tools. This extensions adds a "Make All Compatible" button to the Extension display. This has worked very well for me because I have a couple extensions ("Download With") which is really important to me and this extension makes them workable. Needless to say, backups of FireFox are always recommended. Check my Firefox link below should you want to know more about which extensions I use on a regular basis.

I guess I should have asked "....AND WHY?!"
anyway when I wrote that I may not have had even one extension, but now I have quite a few. I decided to post my collections which I have catagorized. Ones that almost everyone has posted I may have ommitted. The important catagories to the potential extension trier are the gifts that keep giving. One you have set them up your life is better! Greasemonkey is God's gift to geeks (which I am not, BTW) I included ones I never use so you can tell me if I have missed anything That movie thing kind of bugs me - There is no free lunch, why kid ourselves? I question the safety, legality, and ease of use. Rebuttal? Special thanks go out to Wilders moderators for two of my favorites: -Spoofstick -Google Customizer Special thanks go out to Nat and others for the weatherbug, and smilelys... except all this time and I still haven't actually got them...neat ideas though! Here is my partial list: This WOULD be extremely useful for Flickrers Greasemonkey 0.6.5.20060727 A User Script Manager for Firefox The Gifts That Keep On Giving! (even if you are to lazy to explicetly use extensions) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CustomizeGoogle 0.49 Enhance Google search results and remove ads and spam. PermaTabs 1.2.0 Create permanent tabs that don't close, and stick around betwee... SpoofStick 1.06 A simple way to detect spoofed websites. a few critical (IMO) ones not listed yet
Image Zoom lots of Rclick options from Image fit to set percentages or define and automatic resizing with various mouse click combinations CoLT adds RClick Copy Link Text, Copy Link Location, Copy Link Text & Location as several code options (custom, html, BBtext ect). Lets you slam out the links when coding posts, blogs or news. easily convert html link code to BBcode or plain text on the fly Cache View RClick link and select Google's Cache, Coral's Cache, Wayback Machine's Cache, Dot Cache, Tech Guru's Cache, and Cachebin's cache. Raise dead links from the grave Highly recommended ![]() British English Dictionary (though youd never guess that from my misspelled posts) Forecastfox Enhanced and I too have been playing around with zotero as well as Web Search Pro

All Firefox users are advised to read this thread with a list of extensions that should be avoided and have consequently been disabled on the Firefox add-ons page for some weeks because they were collecting data and uniquely identifying users without notifying them.
