    In a companion post https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=115356 I described setting the "iexplorer.exe" client within IMON to Higher Efficiency while at the same time entering certain yimg based URLS into the Server Compatibility field box. I was hoping that this could be a workaround to allow the client "iexplorer.exe" to display yimg (Yahoo) thumbnails which otherwise could only be seen if one set that client's compatibility to Higher Compatibility.

    Doing so brings up the following question.

    QUESTION: Does anyone know if one can enter URLs containing asterisk containing wildcards in the Server Compatibility field box?
    e.g http:www.Adamswebsite* or Adamswebsite* or Adamswebsite/images* etc.

    Or for that matter any other "wildcarding" entry?

    Thanks,
    Supersnake

    What was the result when you tried those examples?

    Thanks for your interest. In my posting I pointed you to https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=115356
    which explained how my attempts to insert variants of wildcard entries - targeting the yimg.com URL - into the Server Compatibility field box had no effect to overide the Higher Efficiency setting in the Client Compatability field box.

    This matter should be of some importance because if one is forced to reduce IExplorer.exe from Higher Efficiency to Higher Compatibility for the sake of one 'errant' web site then ALL of IExplore.exe is potentially compromised in security.

    Could somebody please indicate (or point me to) the correct syntax and usage for
    NOD32-->Control Center-->IMON-->Setup-->HTTP-->Server Compatibility

    I've aparently not been able to get it to work with or without wildcards... :)
