My laptop is a Dell Latitude P3 866mhz, 512 mb ram, 20gig hdd. Bought for its small size and build quality (much better than the cheap Dell laptops for quality).

My server is an athlon 1200 mhz (dunno what the plus rating is) with a Coolmaster heatsink and Akasha 80mm fan, 768mb ram pc133, 20, 40 and 80 gig hdds (all 7200 rpm), in a decent server case, with case fan (100mm), hdd cradle fan (90mm) and a cheiftec psu (400 watts but has more juice than the cheap 500watt one it replaced). Oh a Samsung DVD writter and external USB 20gig laptop HDD used for external storeage and backup.
And yes it sounds like a Vacuum cleaner. But thats why its a server in the back room and I sit on the laptop in the sitting room in comfort.

Oh I still have an Amiga 1200, with 8mb extra Ram and a 2gig hdd !
