Default Mcafee's antivirus false/positive...

Mcafee's antivirus product, using definition files number 4199 , falsely detects the RealTime Protector component of F-Prot Antivirus as a new worm. This problem with the Mcafee product applies to machines running Windows NT, 2000, and XP with F-Prot Antivirus™ 3.12.

Needless to say the RealTime Protector component of F-Prot Antivirus™ is not a worm, neither a new nor an old one. The source of this problem lies solely with Mcafee's appearant lack of quality control.

being a McAfee user for the past 4 yrs, .......i am not surprised.....just disappointed.

many times the problems i had with their anit-virus made me go ...hummmmmmmmm

they couldn't pay me now to keep their product on my pc....just my personal opinion based on my 4 yr's personal experience.
