I was wondering then if someone can tell me the link/s where to download the latest Bitdefender 9 Free edition... coz I was still using the v8 free.
I have seen a website but it can't be downloaded, there's always an error. ![]() |

The free edition of BitDefender is always one version behind the commercial version. So then BitDefender 10 comes out, the free edition will turn version 9.

If I remember correctly, the BD8 and BD9 detection rates are not different. I am not sure what the difference in the two versions are.
I use BD9, and am very satisfied with it. Have used BD for over a year now, and see no reason to change. Jerry |

BitDefender 9.0 is more optimized and the professional version's firewall has more features.

Scanning engines between the two (8 vs 9) are identical.
