My PC is behind a router; other PC is wireless.
I followed the FAQs and added the MAC of the remote PC to an allow rule but I still need to disable LnS to gain access. Is there an easy way to do this? A simple trutorial perhaps? Thank you. |

Is it file/printer sharing that is not working?
http://www.looknstop.com/En/rules/rules.htm#Partage Do the logs provide any insight into what is being blocked? If you are using wireless do you need/have you tried importing the following rule: http://www.looknstop.com/En/rules/rules.htm#wifi Regards, CrazyM

Not a print server issue. No WPA for test purposes.
I'll try the rule you suggested and see. Since one PC is upstairs, it is simply easier to update stuff remotely. I can always turn LnS off t do this. Just seems I'm missing something. Thank you. |

Nope. The WPA rule doesn't help.
Still need to turn of the process to see the other PC. |

Hi keiser
For you to gain access to the Network PC, you need to see, correct? Have it list the Network in ‘My Network Places’, and it does not, this would indicate you blocking broadcast and NetBIOS packets.
