Well it's still called : "Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (Beta)"
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu...e/default.mspx
So I have nothing to say about this software.

Hi,
Never had any problem with it. Works OK.
If you're nice to software - it will be nice back.
Don't say bad words about Bill - and it will work splendidly.

Couldn't find anything on this page.

When MS decides it's ready to be released as official version. The same applies to all betas.
Not easy to put a release date on betas.
First they do have to iron out most of the bugs and making improvements.

I am using MSAS on one of my computers a the primary AS utility. I also have a trial of Spy Sweeper, and the free version of Spyware Doctor. I am using SS and SWD to double check MSAS. So far they have found nothing. I intend to use the MSAS as the primary AS unless it is found wanting by scans with the other two.

I suspect that it is as good as other AS programs, and when combined with Ewido and BD 9.0 I have a high degree of confidence that I am protected about as well as could be done.

I also use a couple of on-line scanners as a further check.
