    Hi:

Is it normal for SpywareGuard to create over 75000 Win32 Handles?
If so why. I ran Taskinfo 2003 utility and it gave me an alert that
too many Win32 Handles were created. When I looked at the breakdown SpywareGuard had created some 75000 such handles.
Would appreciate any info you can supplly me on this topic.

    regards and thanks

    Dan

There is indeed a chance of this happening - the bug/conflict has been identified in the current release of SpywareGuard (2.1) and will be fixed in the next version, which should be out soon.

    You mean version 2.6. :D

I'm glad someone pointed this memory leak out--I hadn't noticed it before. Sure enough, though, Task Manager shows the handle count creeping up continually. SpywareGuard crashed on me just a few minutes ago; maybe the issues are related...

Nope - SpywareGuard 2.1 is the current version. (SpywareBlaster is at version 2.6, but that doesn't have any such problems.) :D

Do you have any more details on the crash you experienced? TIA.

    Best regards,
