Question Startup Programs ?

Hi - In the System Configuration Utility>Startup Folder - I want to be able to completely delete from that list some of the programs.
I am not looking for a startup utility (I have Startup Cop for that) I just want to remove any written evidence of the program entirely from that section. Is there a way to do it? Many thanks, Deca

Chances are you have Spybot S&D installed, and that has a tool for controlling start-up programs. You can either disable them or delete them completely, which I think you want to do.

Another excellent utility is Autoruns from www.sysinternals.com which can do the same - disable or delete completely - and it doesn't even need installing.
