Default Your favourite second choice Web Browser

Many of us like to use multiple web browsers. It is now well known( at least according to my knowledge) that Web Brwser of first choice ranking is as follows

1- IE and
2- Firefox

I mean to say most used default browser is IE, then comes Firefox.

I constructed this pool just to know what is the most popular second line web browser? For me, it is IE( firefox is my default). I do use Opera also but not frquently( just felt it a bit faster to load and surf than IE and FF!!).

I did not incluse Mac browser.

i use firefox as my first choice and opera for my second browser, not that i do not like ie it's just when you get used to using tabs it's hard to use a browser that does not have that feature. i tried the tool bar's that support tabs but i didn't really like the extra bulk.plus the fact it is nice to be able to change skins.

IE6 for me. I had Firefox and Avant in for a short while. I was glad to see the back of them and get back to IE6.

You are absolutely right. I hate no tabs in IE.

I tried this with MSN search, not good,
1- U have to install MSN search, no option not to instal it.
2- Very bad interface, when u click for new tab, whole of IE trembles like there is earthquake on ur screen, installed twice and removed.
3- ih u hide MSN toolbar, tab function disappers too.

Has any body tried tabbed browsing of IE7 Beta?

1.......Opera
2.......IE6
3.......Firefox

Firefox was at one stage number 2, but lately there is something about it which drives me crazy which resulted in its demotion.

First = IE second = IE

Yes no kidding, very fast at loading and also rendering pages, and as safe as you want to make it, if you choose to !

Big Grin Re: Your favourite second choice Web Browser

I just use Firefox browser... and I don't have any second choice.. Firefox satisfies me even if it eats up ram memory which I am waiting to be fixed by the developers.

Though, I also use IE but not much, only when firefox has some problems w some sites, or I can't download something on firefox..

K-Meleon is my first browser (my mouse can hardly keep up with the loading pages ) and Opera is my second. They both share the same bookmark file(an excellent feature of K-meleon), so it depends on my mood if I use Opera. I use Maxthon for windows update.

1) Opera
2) IE...for windows updates, OWA at the office, and some wholesaler websites that only work correctly in IE.

I use Opera for the speed.
