I see a brief explanation in another message suggesting what some of the flag colors indicates. I cannot locate in the DDS Help contents what the flags indicate & what is indicated by a partition with no flag shown at all. I have that condition on one partition on a internal data-only drive. Using XP Home only on this PC.
Please someone provide how I can see a "Legend" or point to where in the Help the flags are explained. As a last resort, an explanation in a reply here would help. I shouldn't have to rely on this forum to be sure I understand the flag indicator so I offer my apology here & now. Thanks much for help. Warren |

A red flag means an Active partition, a green means the partition is a primary one.
No flag, the drive is a logical one. The only clueto the flags is; if in advanced mode you click on a green flagged partition - you'll see the option to make the partition active, and it is a red flag. I suppose they assume everyone is intuitive, which of course only works if everyone approached everything from the same viewpoint. I would suggest downloading the file 'DiskDirectorSuite10.0_ug.en.pdf', this is more informative than the helpfile and contains pictures (4.10Mb) . You can find it from the DD10 product info page on the Acronis website. Colin
