Default NO CLUE

I'm quite puzzled but do you know of any programs that might fall between "eye on network" and "fingerprint"? Another puzzling PC mystery. Sorry I can't help.

That's the key, I'd say. I came across similar things when looking for a fix for a large 'blank' (white) space I had in A/R P after installing SP2. I'd definitely be looking for a proggie that should be there instead of the black part. It's probably a corrupt registry key?

Have a look in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall, that's where my prob was. look for an app that would lie where your black space is...

Found an interesting post;

...and my prob was also with a display icon value for 'Autocad'. Had a surplus comma that I simply removed from here;

Thank you very much Bigbuck, after I have done what you have tell me and it works.

here's what I have done :
Open regedit
go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
Look for an application that was between eye on network and fingerprint, there was filechecker, wich I delete et voila! Everything is back to normal

Again thank's,
