Sandboxie and DefenseWall running smoothly here on my laptop.

Firefox forced in sandboxie and excluded from DW; Other threat gates are guarded by Defensewall.

Light and efficient. Great combo, no overlap at all...

PCAV Free
Shadow Defender (on-demand)
Win7Firewall
MBAM Free
Hitman Pro paid

Appguard had just been removed because the trial has ended. Wish I had extra $ to purchase this one, this AE is just awesome.

Ditched Norman security

Good protection but it made the computer slower than an old toaster

I was about to ask if it was heavy, because thats been my experience with it in the past.I guess the old toaster anology sums it up.

I wonder if you would be good enough to give me an idea of just 'how light' EAM is?

Thanks

FWIW- it's on sale for $8 on the emsisoft.com site and looks like they throw in a 1 year license to AdMuncher Premium.

I used Emsi recently and it ran pretty smooth and light. I disabled the web filter or IP shield or whatever it was at that became a bit annoyning since there was little configuration available. But Emsi looks like a winner product, much better than it was 2-3 years ago with all the flase positves and running heavy. Now it seems like a totally different product.

Totally agree. Version 6 rocks. I also disabled its surf protection, too annoying for some sites.

With Emsisoft offering such a good deal I had to give this combo a try. I have used OA for years but haven't tried EAM in a couple of years. So far so good...much lighter than anticipated!
