If you have not done so already you may have to uninstall DF and reinstall a new copy of the latest version from here.www.faronics.com. Thats if you want to give it another try.As far as detections from HMP and Avira they may be False positives.

Wow I've never seen you installing and using the same security app in all your pcs other than HitmanPro. You sure love AG now don't you J.

What do you do when you want to download and use a video, file, mp3 or simply wanna try a software? How would you know those are not malicious if you're not using an AV, uploading to a meta-scanning site like Virus-Total or some brilliant on-demand scanners like MBAM or HitmanPro? Using only AG is not that of a convenient or secured imo.

Since it's only $20 for 3 users now, I recommended it to my Dad instead of DefenseWall (he hasn't purchased DW yet), and to my neighbors who seem to get infected fairly often.

Back to BitDefender now. Its malware detection rates seem really impressive and the strain on computer resources is almost nil.

Already uninstalled KIS 2012, it was kind of good during the time i used it (1 Day) but i decided to uninstall it today.

The reason i uninstalled it was because a very generous and kind member here gave me some licenses for EAM and OA.
Really thanks mate, i will put them to good use.

Really really thank you.

New Setup:

OS: Fedora 17 XFCE x86 PAE

Web Browser(s): (These run in two different VM's)

FireFox - NoScript, ABP, Cookiemonster, & LastPass.

Chrome - JavaScript Whitelisting, ABP, Click-to-Play, Seccomp Sandbox, & LastPass.

I run my web browsers inside of a Virtual Machine (One for Chrome and one for FireFox) this way they are completely isolated from the host significantly decreasing risk of being infected. Both VM's are running Fedora 17 and SeLinux.

FireWall:

Buffalo Router running DD-WRT
IPTables on my Laptops

Encryption:

LUKS Full Disk Encryption
TrueCrypt
OpenPGP
WPA2 Personal AES W/WPS Disabled.

Tools:

NMap to check for open ports
BackTrack to test for issues.
