SecCheck is a Windows forensic tool which aids in the detection and removal of malicious applications, backdoors, trojans, worms, and viruses that may be unknowningly installed on your computer. This is accomplished by collecting the following information from your system and reporting it back to you in a web page or text file:


Currently active processes

Defined services

Startup folder items

Startup Registry Key contents

Applications listening for inbound connections

Applications with active network communications

Active Browser Helper objects (BHOs)

Installed ActiveX controls

Module dump (DLLs) for all active applications

Last 50 files changed in System Directory


The ActiveX version of SecCheck displays the results in your browser AND uploads the results to the mNW Upload site. Advanced users that do not want to send results can use the SecCheck DOS version.

Even better is the latest desktop version which doesn't require an install. Just DC and let it run. You can choose to view in TXT or XML/HTML or copy to clipboard. It took only about 5 seconds to complete and showed me things other Apps don't, and with extra useful info.
