Hi Wayne...just a `dumbo` question for you...using dellator,,,,,,,,how do you get it to work!!!Have tried addding it to the file, adding the file to it Am not an expert on these matters so any help much appreciated!!! This goes for the Wilders forum as well..........been browsin for a while and you are all fantastic!!!!!!!!!!Good advise and true help when needed!!!!!!!!!!
Hi marty1 I have split your post off into it's own thread so it does not get missed in the Welcome post. Regards, CrazyM
Move/copy dellater.exe to windows\system32 folder. To dell a file click 'start' and 'run',then type dellater.exe +path to file example - "dellater.exe c:\program files\this folder\this file.exe" without quotes,then press enter.
I normally just put this sort of program straight into my Windows folder and then launch them directly from the command console by typing the appropriate command exe's name - in this case 'dellater'. No additional pathways are necessary. FYI with dellater it responds with usage dellater.exe <filename> if you haven't specified a particular target. Regards eyes-open
Edited: Old friend, i moved your posting to a thread of your own so you get full attention. And it's not nice to hijack threads of other users. I didn't get a chance to post this here as you posted a copy already. Your posting is here for all to see. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=110434 Also your next posting is moved to your own thread on the above URL. Please stop hijacking this thread. Subject here is the tool dellator. This tool was not used on your postings. I used php functions, not written bij DiamondCS (yet, to my knowledge). Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. Jooske
Old friend this was a support thread. To trample all over someone elses request for help disrepects the original poster and reduces any message you may have to nothing more than spam. http://imagehost.biz/ims/pictes/209154.gif
The PATH (in autoexec.bat) is nice for win98 users and people who don't like to write or move anything themselves in the windows directory --knowingly themselves-- But moving it into the Windows directory --suppose system or system32? is handy. Have not tried to make a separate folder "consoletools" in the windows directory or in a system or system32 folder. Since Windows is in the path anything put somewhere in Windows is automatically in the path as well.
Please accept my most sincere apologies. Jooske, I see they've given you a sheriff's badge and your English has improved. What the hell is this world coming to?
Thank you all for your quick responses.......all is now revealed!!!!Will have a go at it later!!!Again thank you all....all the best!!!
