Default Correct Spybot file ?

I am not trusting much of late........is the Spybot download showing as 14 correct
i understand the version is is 1.4 but my downloads are showing 14

Hi Rainwalker;

Yes the installer is spybotsd14.exe you can verify the MD5 checksum: C1A843913269018A8FC962407D7E5169

Why it's named without a (dot) between the 1 and 4, is likely so it does look to have multiple extensions, which some security programs may flag. I believe all Spybot versions have been named in the same manner (ie. spybotsd12.exe; spybotsd13.exe)
