Hi Rainwalker,

If I remember me well, the WormGuard key is not required through the members-area.

Your Licensed Keyfile should come through the email addy u provided.

Then u copy wguard.kf keyfile over to your WormGuard directory.

Been a while but that's how i remember it.

The members area is here - http://www.diamondcs.com.au/members/ but as said above to unlock WG you need the keyfile from the email and drop it in the wormguard folder like snowbound directed. It's the only product that remains this way for now, PG and PE have changed to license codes that are available in your members area.

Rainwalker if you haven't recieved your keyfile yet ... email support, it won't hurt. The response after purchase is usually quite fast ... but maybe not on weekends? I don't know ... but I do remember when I purchased from DCS I got a response within minutes I believe. Did you just purchase it this weekend?

Hi,

Yep, WormGuard is not in the members-area.
The DCS-lab used to be open only on monday-friday (and not on weekends, and not on public holidays in Australia).
So, indeed, in case you haven't heard back from DCS om monday (maybe give them a day or two more), then drop Wayne or Gavin an email.

Thanks all......i purchased it when it first became available, but my key file, on floppy, has become corrupted. Decided to reinstall WG, which has been off my system for a year or two. I emailed them..

Hi there Rainwalker, You should have got a registration email with keyfile attached to it.
Didn't you really keep a copy of the registration email with file somewhere else too?
Did your email address change in the meaintime, so it could have been sent to a possible old address?

Hello Jooske .........i did receive a key when i first ordered and paid for the program...........i unstalled it some time back................the key i had stored on floppy had somehow gotten corrupted, thus my reason for requesting a new one......as far as my email address changing, the answer is no............

Wayne sent it twice over the last couple of weeks, so if you still didn't get it, there is something wrong.
Did you check all your email folders?
Did you send Wayne your full name and email address and whatever other info could help?
I would most certainly save the registration email, which eases asking for keys if ever necessary again, and the keyfile separate of it.

Rainwalker, just send me another private message rather than emailing me, there may even be some blocking going on (if you've already received your key then disregard this message). Anyway whatever is happening it's clear that you've been inconvenienced and a bit unlucky, so I'd like to offer you a complimentary license for your choice of ProcessGuard or Port Explorer - just let me know in your private message which one you like and I'll get a key out to you for that along with your WG key, if you haven't already received that.

This is a good example of why it's a good idea to keep multiple copies of any software licenses you purchase. Most people keep one copy as a backup, but you may still lose that copy one day if your hard drive crashes or your data is deleted by malware (for example). Some companies also charge money for license regeneration (we don't), so it's better to be safe than sorry

Best regards and have a safe and happy new year!
Wayne

@ Jooske...i always save keys and mail separate and apart.......mail is kept on computer.........lost Windows a while back so by-by mail................as i wrote before key had become corrupted.......i am guessing you contacted Wayne....if so, thank you...Happy New Year and all the best

@ Wayne......Apologies to all who were offended..........it is not my style, but i was getting pissed (errr.. not drunk ) .........i got the key today...........very strange.......no need for free license.....just happy to get what i got..
Cheers and the very best to you and yours this upcoming year

Well I still don't know your name so I don't know which license email was sent, but please drop me a private message with your name and email address so I can double-check what happened with that email, as well as send you a complimentary PE or PG license (your choice)
Thanks, and have a great night,
Wayne
