Default Ace Utilities v3.0.0

Ace utilities has been updated to version 3.0.0.

Main thing i noticed apart from going away from the tabbed aproach is secure file deletion when erasing history. from 1 pass to Gutman 35 pass + your own created secure deletion. The autostart configuration now lists services. The best just got better.

It's a matter of tastes, Muf. As for me, I loved the old GUI & am totally unenthusiastic about the new one. Also, I submitted a support request 5 days ago & they still haven't replied. A delay that long is unusual for AceLogix (Hari).

I hear what you're saying. But it may be more a case of you just being used to the tabbed version. I find navigation clearer and easier. But as you say, it's a matter of taste. As to the support request. I'd submit it again and give them the benefit of the doubt. It may have got lost(does sometimes happen). They are usually quicker to respond than 5 days.

Could it be that they are slow because they are getting lots of support requests about v. 3 at this point in time? Check HERE.

I heard from Ace today. It was a good answer. Ergo, IF they fell off their horse a few days ago, it now looks like they are back in the saddle & riding the range once more.

Happy trails!
