Default screensaver remover.

Hello forum,
Can anyone tell me how to remove a screensaver, I have Microsoft home edition XP2.

If it's one you've installed, you may find it in 'add/remove progs', otherwise I think screensavers are in System32 as .scr files....

If u can't find it in "Add and Remove Programs" just do a search with ".scr" and you'll see a whole bunch of entries with screensavers. Just delete the one(s) u don't want.

Whoa! Hold the phone a minute!
Why do you want to 'delete' a screensaver anyway?
Do you possibly mean you want to 'change' the screensaver? or use no screensaver?
I use a black screen (none). It can be changed in the control panel, appearance and themes, choose a screensaver ....

Hi Boy's,Thanks, Found it in system 32, it was a screensaver which download it self full of spyware. Thanks again.

After you hit 'reply', you will see a 'manage attachments' button bottom left....
