I have several different media players and graphics software etc on my system. How can I check and CHANGE which software the file format ext. is assigned to?, especially with the media players. Is there a General and quick way to do this apart from entering each media player etc and I don't seem to Know how to change it for others like graphics. Thank you.

Hi there-
If you are in windows explorer then go up to tools and pick folder options from the drop down menu then select the file extensions tab. Now, the thing that makes it more interesting is that your choices may change back. If that happens you have to go to the players options and deselect it there. Alot of times when you install programs they or you asign them as the default application. The hardest part really, is finding where they bury the player's file type options but, after all, there are only so many places. -HandsOff!
