Default Ewido and Counterspy

* Do they cover much the same ground?

* Any issues with running both in active guard mode on the same machine?

I run both in active guard mode along with my etrust antivirus software and zonealarm firewall. I've had no problems with any conflicts between any of them.

The word I got from Ewido and posters here is that Ewido does cover spyware but not to the depth a focused spyware program like Counterspy will. Ewido is more of an anti-trojan program. To make a long story short, the two together will give you great coverage. I run Spysweeper along side of Ewido...

Thanks for the info Mongol & Dasher62. I inherited the licenses from 2 of my older machines that have now been replaced by one shiny new one. I wondered whether to put them together on the same box, and if it was worth it in terms of coverage. You've answered those points handsomely - cheers!
