I have a Athlon 64 pc. Currently i am running the 32 bit version of NOD32. Would i be better off running the 64 bit version? i.e is it faster or has other benefits?

It depends on what oper. system you have installed. If it's Win XP/2003 x64 then you'll need to install the 64-bit version of NOD32.

Mine says Windows XP 2002 version and it's SP2. so i take it it's not the 64 bit version? That's fine then. At least i'm running the correct version.
Thanks, muf |

Windows XP x64 only has SP1, it has 2 versions of Internet Explorer, 32-bit and 64-bit. Why still need 32-bit IE? Becos Microsoft Update cannot works with 64-bit IE! |

So.. do you feel like the 64 bit version of nod is faster on a 64 bit system than the 32 bit version is on a 32 bit system?
And do you have a 64 bit processor on that 64 bit OS? I currently run the amd 64 4000+, was trying to get an idea if it would be worth changing to the 64 bit os? I know this forum is not about 64 bit os's, but was wondering about nods 64 bit performance? |

Well, right now, drivers for the 64-bit OS is going to be a problem, but yes, NOD should run noticeably faster on the 64-bit OS with a 64-bit CPU.
