Actually, it depends on a couple things to give you good advice. I would recommend you to use Norman till your license runs out, and then install eTruse EZ Antivirus (free for microsoft customers...). Hopefully this will help.

Then these two program will serve you good enough. The big pro of EZ is that it's lighter then Norman (so an advantage for your games) but Norman has way stronger pro-active detection. If I may ask, how long does your Norman license still last?

My norman licence expires on 2-09-06 but my norman virus control take a lot of time to load on startup and if i deactivate norman virus control and later activate it again my computer freezes for 2 minutes.

And norman missed some viruses
Etrust found this
Trojan.Win32.StartPage.he
SmitFraud
WhenU.SaveNow

And norman doesn't detect this items

That's a shame Well then eTrust will definitly serve you well. Weird you got this problems with Norman. I trialled it this summer and it really worked nice and smooth on my computer. Also a big shame about the license you paid for , so it might be interesting to contact their support and submit the missed samples. Hope this is all a little helping...

Well as long you did not pay for it, just go for eTrust EZ with Pestpatrol. Maybe ZoneAlarm Free in addition will finish your configuration.
