Default Routers for dial-up

In this thread was a question about whether there are routers for dial-up:

http://www.security-pro.co.uk/yabb/Y...num=1021533825

I posted there:

I have found at least one router for dial-up:

Netgear RM356

http://www.netgear.com.au/product_view.asp?xrp=4&yrp=10&zrp=33

And Unicron posted:

suggested retail price $729.00 inc gst.!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll asume this is Canadian dollars since GST is included? I know Australia has GST (that is where our idiot got the idea from) by the US does not.

hardly counts as "cheap", but now we know they exist.

it would be cheaper to use an external modem with a regular router. External modems are generally superior to internal ones anyhow.

Well, there sure are more routers for dial-up.
For example: Barricade SMC7004ABR

Quote from this site http://www.ozcableguy.com/routers.html

Quote:
The only Router in this price bracket with a built-in Printer Port plus a Com port for a dialup modem.

Or Cisco Aironet 340 Series, the M model (but it could be that the 340 Series is not longer available).
See http://www.practicallynetworked.com/item.asp?pid=357

You could go through these pages to look for more routers for dial-up:

Default Re: Routers for dial-up

Thanks for the time and effort in looking this up FanJ.
I'll do a little more researching.
