    Yeah i wanted to ask about this... Have they actually improved DNAScan in QH2006 or still old packer detection based "heuristics" ?
    Happy Bytes probably knows this (probably), don't you?:D

    eScan uses the KAV 4.x engine, and it does not have a very good heuristics engine (KAV 4.x heuristics=eScan heuristics). NOD32 is much better.

    @RejZoR: QuickHeal has got a cheesy answer to your question:

    Firecat, thats marketing thing. I know how that works. I'm interesting about engine itself.

    Have a look at http://www.av-comparatives.org under "Retrospective/ProActive Test" just so you can see how much better NOD's heuristics really are compared to the other products.
