Thumbs up Acronis True Image User Reviews

I Have Been Using True Image Since Version 6, Version 6,7 And 8 Are Very Stable Versions But Version 8 Lacks Support But From What I Read,I Have A Strange Kind Of PS/2 Mouse As Many Users That Have PS/2 Mice Are Able To Use Their Mice Using The True Image 8 Rescue CD, Version 9 Supports My Mouse But has Some Major Issues To be fixed Before It Can Be Called A Stable Version,I Believe It will Eventually Be stable As Previous Versions Are, Previous Version We're Also Unstable In the Early stages Of Their Builds But Have Now Been Mostly Fixed For the more serious Problems.

I Have Been Looking For other Imaging Programs And Have tested 3 oR 4 Other Imaging Programs And Have found that If anyone thinks that true image is A Bad Product (Not Including Version 9 For Now) Then You are Wrong As I Found True Image to be the most stable and easiest to use unless you go for the very basic features that some have but then you are very limited to what you can do, the free imaging programs are very limited so True image 6 - 8 Are very stable and great versions and when true image 9 becomes more stable to use, then I May purchase true image 9

I Find the 2nd Best imaging product on the market to be norton ghost 9 but not as stable as Acronis true image 8 which I Have compared, norton ghost has some nice features but being more stable is more important so I Would suggest any users that are not happy with true image 9 to return back to version 7 or 8 until the forums have better reviews of true imag 9 or less negative reviews of true image 9

I Now fully support Acronis for coming out with a great product and I Trust that they will eventually fix true image 9 Defects

Feel free to submit your reviews of acronis true image and what you think of it as A Reliable backup solution, When submitting your reviews, submit what version and build of true image you are using and what you think of the product

I Am A Current True Image 8.0.937 Rescue CD Users And Is A Great Product

Good Luck Acronis

I think it would be unfair to review Acronis TI9 at this stage as its currently in no fit state to be scrutinised in this fashion.

However it is for sale so arguably you should be able to review it - but whats the point really? most here know it doesnt function reliably yet.

they still take money for it, so what should be unfair?

Have you try 7tools Partition Imager 2005/Paragon Exact Image 7.0... they are better than Ghost. And the price is reasonable.

As this has become a comparison thread I have moved it to the appropriate forum section.

Hi Guys,

I bought ver. 8 & less than 30 days ver 9 came out. Got 9 free. So far I have one full backup (from ver.8 8] & have made weekly incremental backups to it (using ver 9), to my USB hard drive. After my last incremental backup, I checked the backup. All is Okay! Normally I'm not lucky when it comes to 1, & 0's. Current build is 2289.

Dear detox,

Would you please provide some insight as to which forum you feel is "appropriate" for "comparison threads"?

Thank You.
