Default ID Blaster Pluggins?

I love ID Blaster!

Any Pluggins for it?
Or specific list of "Add Item" with all the fields listed?

Thanks in advance!

A member of these forums, Sponge, has created a list of many extra IDs to randomize that you can import into ID-Blaster Plus.

Quote:
Lists for ID-Blaster

ID-Blaster List - This list is a default configuration file for ID-Blaster Plus, available here. This will neuter some forms of tracking while allowing the appropriate programs full Internet access. Save this in your ID-Blaster folder as DEFAULT.INI. (Make sure, in the box below the filename, called Files of Type or something, to select All Files.) Last updated April 13, 2003.

The page is here: http://www.geocities.com/yosponge/updates.html

and the file is here: http://www.geocities.com/yosponge/id-blast.txt

Enjoy!

Best regards,

I'm really new to computers so please forgive my ignorance but I have a couple of questions about downloading and installing the plugins.
When saving the file I copied and pasted to notepad and then 'saved as'
DEFAULT.INI. As instructed I then selected All Files but am then presented with choosing 'Encoding' of ANSI, Unicode, Unicode big endian or UTF-8 .......which do I opt for please?
Secondly, should I delete the original default file?

Many thanks

Hi Ramus,

ANSI is the default, so just use that, though given the contents of the file it may not really make much difference.

As for deleting originals files (any original files in any apps), I usually tend to rename the originals and leave them in place just in case I want to go back to the way things were before.

You can rename a file to pretty much anything. So, the orignal "default.ini" could be renamed to something like "default-ini.original", a name that won't interfere with any other real files associated with the application. Such a name will also help you to remember what the file was if you come back to it a long time from now.

Hope that helps,
